Bonjour Mes Amis!

My name is Mackenzie Janzen and I am SO excited to be Petits Pandas new preschool teacher!

I am a photographer, a wife, and a mama to a crazy toddler and a busy 7 month old boy. My family and I love our time away exploring, but we also love digging into Netflix and having a laid back weekend.

I have my Early Childhood Education (Level 1) and I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I’m also certified with the Autism Certification Centre, and love thinking of new ways to teach all types of students.

I’m a very hands-on based teacher. I believe in the power of play based education, and hands on learning experiences. This year I plan to introduce the Alphabet and the beginnings of phonemic awareness, as well as basic math shapes and a holistic understanding of whole numbers 0-10. Most importantly, I want to encourage my students to develop emotionally and physically, and to grow into the amazing human beings they will be!

I learn so much from my students and I can’t wait to start learning from your littles!
